There's not much Jim hasn't seen during his nearly 30 years of repairing bicycles. From overhauling an old Fichtel & Sachs Torpedo Automatic 2-speed CB hub to dialing in your Campagnolo Super Record-11 Ti, adjusting your German Rohloff Speedhub or diagnosing an electronic issue with your new Shimano Di2 electronic drivetrain!

Of course, we also are happy to fix your flat, adjust your derailleur, dial in your brakes, true and tension your wheel or whatever bicycle repairs that you might require.

Our "attention to detail" and sense of urgency along with our pride in our work and doing it right the first time, will give you the confidence and peace to choose us and keep us as your service specialist!

We are happy to solve your problems and get you back out onto the road or trail as soon as possible!

Sometimes you may encounter a bike emergency and need it repaired the next morning because of a race, a tour, an event or you just cannot wait! Now what?

For these special cases, we offer our Overnight Repair Service (ORS) for the cyclist in need! This is a Premium service at a premium price much like UPS, FedEx and USPS overnight delivery services. Don't worry, this service does not delay another customer's service completion time, we just make it happen by...well...working Overnight as the name implies!

Our popular service packages include:

  • Pro Tune Single Bike (not a tandem nor a recumbent)
$129 (additional charges may include: $25 - $35 for boutique wheel tension/true, $25 for Campagnolo drivetrain, $20 for torque of carbon fiber parts per manufacturer's specs using our Snap-on digital torgue wrenches and additional labor for installation of tires, tubes, cables, parts, and suspension system service and hydraulic brake work).
This service package is a bare minimum for most bicycles. We start off by carefully placing your bicycle into our professional repair stand. We then remove both wheels and carefully inspect your hubs, rims, spokes and skewers along with your tires and then adjust your front and rear hub bearings and true and tension your spokes. Your tires are now inflated to proper pressure. Next we inspect the bicycle frame, fork, cables, housing, brake pads, and entire drivetrain. Your frame is wiped down and polished after this inspection.  We then adjust your bottom bracket and entire crankset. Next your wheels are reinstalled and we lube your cables and adjust your headset. Next all nuts and bolts are inspected and tightened and torqued to manufacturer's specs as required. The last step is to adjust and dial in your drivetrain and brake system for a finely tunes machine!
  • Pro Tune Tandem Bike and Single Recumbent
$249 (additional charges may include: $35 - $45 for boutique wheel tension/true, $35 for Campagnolo drivetrain, $20 for torque of carbon fiber parts per manufacturer's specs using our Snap-on digital torque wrenches and additional labor for installation of tires, tubes, cables, parts, and suspension system service and hydraulic brake work).
(See description of Pro Tune work above)
  • "THE WORKS" (still our most popular and most asked for service package) is the service package that takes care of your entire machine from fork to rear dropout! The entire bike is stripped down to a bare frame.  The frame is cleaned, detailed, and polished. The entire drive-train and brake calipers are ultrasonically cleaned and lubed. The rims are also "turned" to give a new braking surface. The bottom bracket/s, headset, front hub, and rear hub are overhauled.  Both wheels are inspected, tensioned and trued. We recommend new brake pads (due to the new rim surfaces), new cables and housing (for a new "crisp" and maintenance-free shift and brake system), new bearings (while all sub-components are apart and there is no additional labor), and new handlebar tape. All bolts clamping carbon fiber are torqued to manufacturer's specs using our digital Snap-on torque wrenches. The result is a New bike sans some "wear" marks from your prior riding which cannot be eliminated.

    $549 for single bikes or
$699 for tandem bikes and single recumbents.
(No extra labor for any new installed repair parts purchased from the Bicycle Shop at the time of "THE WORKS" service package. Extra parts and labor will be charged for frame and/or dropout alignment, custom wheel building, tubular installation along with extra charges for suspension system and hydraulic brake system work as well).
